What can you add to the story of Colin Lynch than has not already been told? Colin lost his lower left leg due to surgical complications during the treatment of a rugby injury at age 16. For a lot of people that might be end of the story, but for Colin it was far from it. in 2013, Colin, with his bicycle, became the Irish national time trial champion. He eclipsed that achievement by becoming World Champion, and took podium positions in a range of UCI time trial races. In 2014 he won the UCI World Cup Time Trial, and did it again in 2015. Colin Lynch is one heck of a cyclist.

Paracycling is woefully underfunded, so we decided to help out. Eastmond Medicomm Ltd and Pace Rehabilitation Ltd are proud to sponsor a wind tunnel-tested, all carbon fibre über leg that Colin will use for for the UCI Hour Record, and then for 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games.
